Demolition Job on Language

'It was either this or the kip' says owner, who 'plans on demolishing his four-bedroom home and build a new one.'

As usual, I am left hoping that the people at the Australian plan on learning English soon.

  1. I don't understand what a 'kip' is. I hope that the word means something to somebody out there.

  2. A 'skip' - it's a big metal bin you put your rubble in when you're renovating a house. A 'kip' is a nice little sleep, as I understand it.

  3. Ah yes, you're right. I had one yesterday - a kip, that is.
